If your business is stagnant, decreased in value or just isn’t moving in the right direction then hiring a business consultant may be the best decision you ever made. In 2022 going into 2023 businesses that survived COVID may still not be thriving but rather just getting by. With interest rates, gas prices and material costs at all-time highs, making a profit can prove to be more difficult than ever before.
A business consultant will analyze your business start to finish when it comes to productivity, employee accountability, financial accountability, marketing strategies and streamlining your processes. There may be some aspects of your business that are running well and there is an old saying “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” However, there may be room for improvement especially from a marketing standpoint.
Marisa Schmidt is a leading business consultant that serves the Chicagoland area. When asked where the majority of the issues are in the businesses that she has been involved with her response was “Marketing, marketing marketing!” We sat down with her to discuss some of her recent results. “When I start to go through client processes which entails everything from purchasing products to delivering them to buyers, the majority of the issues I find is that there isn’t the volume of sales that will allow the business to grow at an acceptable rate. At the end of the day, sales are what keeps any business going and if that isn’t on track for continual growth then they are depending only on current clients to sustain them from going under. Any successful business needs to continuously attract new clients while still serving their current clients.”
As an expert Google Adwords manager, Marisa states that one of the easiest and fastest ways to generate new business is to run an aggressive Google Adwords campaign. “It takes more than just opening an account and starting a basic smart campaign. A lot of small businesses do this and do not get results. The account needs to be in expert mode with proper tracking programs installed into the landing pages of the client’s website. Then negative keywords need to be added along with researching the proper keywords that will attract new business. This takes a lot of experience using Google’s platform, access to SEO and tracking software and taking the time to watch every click that comes in with access to the client’s lead generation responses. It’s an art and it doesn’t matter which industry my clients are in because I’ve done everything from logistics, distribution, new age services, lawyers, doctors, restaurants, and professional services. Adwords is only step one in regard to bringing in new clients. There are a dozen other ways to do it, but I like starting here because it gets large immediate results which allows my clients to generate some quick revenue.”
Marisa Schmidt currently resides in the Chicagoland area and serves Schaumburg, Elk Grove, Carpentersville, Hoffman Estates, Elgin, St. Charles, Des Plaines, Skokie, Lombard, Downers Grove, Naperville, Elmhurst, Schiller Park and more.
