Smartsense’s fixed monitor provides a variety of support options for monitoring different inputs, either digital or analog. These devices can monitor up to four gasses simultaneously and provide a 360deg alarm. This configurable format allows for the monitoring of up to four gasses at once and provides unprecedented levels of monitoring, with the possibility of customer expansion.
The integrated controller functions include critical information such as the alarm history, calibration records and data logging. This is useful for post accident investigation. There are also a number of programmable alarm settings. The short-term exposure limits, time-weighted average and alarm history are displayed on a larger LED and can be read up to 5m.
This device can be used in many environments, including those that are hostile such as underground or surface mining sites. It requires a simple power supply from 9V to 24 VDS. External output is sensitive with the independent programmable, digital output connector. Quick connectors and glands can monitor for carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide and other gasses.
