Admit cards for the Common Admission Test(CAT) will be released by IIM Ahmedabad on October 27 at 5.00 PM. IIM Ahmedabad will be issuing CAT 2021 admit cards to all candidates who have successfully applied for the exam on November 28, 2021. Candidates who have applied for the Common Admission Test can download their admit card on the official website of CAT – iimcat.ac.in. Candidates appearing for the Common Admission Test may download their admit cards until the day of the examination. There is no doubt that CAT is the most competitive entrance exam for management aspirants. IIM Ahmedabad is all set to convene CAT 2021, and there will be no change to the CAT 2021 pattern. The pattern will remain the same as for CAT 2020.

IIM Ahmedabad will conduct CAT 2021 in 159 cities throughout India at over 400 examination centers. This computer-based exam will be held in three shifts. The CAT 2021 registrations totaled approximately 2.31 lakh. Per the official media release for CAT 2021, candidates are encouraged to take mock tests and practice tutorials on the CAT website well in advance.

How to download the CAT 2021 Admit card?

Downloading the CAT admit card 2021 is a simple process. We have outlined the steps below to smoothen the process:

STEP 1: Go to the official CAT portal iimcat.ac.in where you will be able to download the CAT 2021 admit card.

STEP 2: Select ‘Registered Candidate Login’ from the drop-down menu when you reach the admit card download page.

STEP 3: Enter your user ID and password.

Step 4: Click on the dashboard and select ‘CAT Admit Card 2021’.

Step 5: Select the download option to save you’re admit card to the desired folder for future references.

Step 6:

• Verify the details.
• Ensure all the displayed details are correct.
• Print your CAT 2021 admit card.

The CAT 2021 admit card and valid ID proof are prerequisites to be allowed into the examination center. Candidates who do not have their CAT 2021 admit card on the exam day will be barred from taking the exam. Details regarding candidate information, exam date, examination venue are provided on the admit card. Besides personal information, a photograph, and a signature, the admit card also contains the Google Map link to the test center to help candidates locate venues quickly. Additionally, the admit card shall include extra information, including the COVID-19 advisory guidelines.

Candidates are expected to report at the exam center as indicated in the admit card according to the time slot they have been assigned. Along with the admit card, candidates are advised to carry their ID proof, passport-sized photograph, mask, general rules to be followed in the exam center, and other essentials as mentioned in instructions to the exam center.  Photographs pasted on the admit card must be identical to the photo uploaded during registration.  Candidates can download their admit card once the link is live on the official website to avoid technical glitches and last-minute panic. Results for the exam will be published tentatively by the second week of January 2022 by IIM Ahmedabad. Candidates who get through the exam will be able to enroll themselves in management courses and B-schools.
